Bewdley Town Council has the following markets: Riverside Market first and third Sundays in the month, bank holiday Mondays and at Christmas.
All are operated by LSD Promotions who are members of our Fur Free Markets Scheme.
Here is the Council’s response to our Freedom of Information request:
Q: Do you allow stall holders at your markets to sell real fur? (including small items such as knitted hats with fur bobbles, or key rings with fur trims etc.
A: LSD Promotions operate all of our markets. We don’t have any specific policies on fur free, but we are of course pleased to use an operator who takes this issue seriously.
They are considering our Fur Free Markets Scheme documents.
Please urge the Council to adopt the official Fur Free Markets policy by contacting Nick Farress, Town Clerk, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
